You’ll be joining a business renowned for its commitment to research, development, and technical excellence, supporting new and emerging projects across multiple parts of the organisation. Working closely with the Quality Manager and a fully equipped QC laboratory, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is helping to shape the future of steel processing.

The Role

As a Process Engineer, you will:

Support the development and optimisation of steel and materials processes.

Work with the Quality and Engineering teams to deliver technical projects from concept to completion.

Produce technical reports and present findings to colleagues and customers.

Assist the Sales and Engineering departments in developing plant specifications for external clients.

Key Requirements

Degree (or equivalent experience) in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related engineering field.

3–5 years’ experience in a process or production engineering role within steel or related industries.

Experience with flowsheets and P&IDs, and knowledge of metal melting and heat transfer systems.

Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

What’s on Offer

Salary: £35,000–£45,000 DOE

Hours: Regular day shifts

Contract: Permanent, full-time
