Job Title: CNC Process Engineer
Location: Wigston, Leicester
Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Actio Recruitment is proud to represent a forward-thinking engineering firm in Wigston, Leicester. We’re seeking a skilled CNC Process Engineer to support and develop CNC operations, driving efficiency, accuracy, and innovation across machining processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, proof, and optimise CNC programs
  
  
• Manage and revise existing CNC programs
  
  
• Conduct feasibility studies and support CAM integration
  
  
• Assist with machine setup and troubleshooting
  
  
• Provide hands-on technical support to operators and engineers
  
  
• Oversee tooling resources and implement traceability systems
  
  
• Lead CNC-related projects including automation and equipment upgrades
  
  
• Manage CAM implementation and post-processor development
  
  
• Deliver training and build internal technical knowledge
  
  Requirements:
  
  
• Proven experience in CNC programming and process engineering
  
  
• Strong CAM knowledge and CNC machinery expertise
  
  
• Practical, hands-on approach to setup and problem-solving
  
  
• Experience managing tooling and driving process improvements
  
  
• Ability to train and mentor operators and engineers
  
  
• Proactive mindset with a passion for innovation
