PCB Design Engineer

PCB Design Engineer - £ 45 - 50k – Milton Keynes – Hybrid

My client is a renowned company in their niche providing tracking and simulation products for a range of sectors. Due to sustained success, they’re expanding their engineering team.

Main duties:

• Develop analogue and digital electronics, and design PCB layouts.
  
  
• Work closely with team members to determine PCB configurations, outlines, interfaces, and interconnects.
  
  
• Generate comprehensive technical documentation, including PCB fabrication and assembly drawings.
  
  
• Conduct hardware design verification, troubleshooting, and debugging, as well as engaging in product EMC testing
  
  Skills and Experience Required:
  
  
• Diploma or degree in electrical engineering or related discipline
  
  
• 4+ years experience of PCB design in a commercial environment
  
  
• Experience using PCB design tools like Altium or Cadence
  
  
• Experience in both analogue and digital design and layout
  
  Bonus:
  
  
• Knowledge of FPGA design
  
  
• Knowledge of GNSS or automotive industry applications
