Hardware FPGA Engineer

Position: Hardware Engineer

Job Type: Contract

Rate: £55/60 per hour

Location: Hybrid / Motherwell

Duration: 6 months

Avanti Recruitment is working with a client looking for a Hardware Engineer to support upcoming project work. The role will focus on high-speed FPGA and digital hardware design, with a strong hands-on element in the lab. The client needs someone who can design, test, debug and bring hardware systems up to a working standard.

Required:

• Strong FPGA design experience

• High-speed digital design experience

• ADC experience

• Xilinx FPGA experience

• Hardware bring-up, testing and fault-finding

• Comfortable working onsite with lab equipment

• Able to work independently within a small project team

Desirable:

• Analogue electronics awareness

• Experience with specialist or high-performance electronic systems

• Previous contract experience

• Ability to support both design and hands-on validation/debug
