Graduate Process Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and problem-solving Graduate Process Engineer to join our manufacturing business in Immingham.

Working as part of the Manufacturing and Engineering teams, and in conjunction with other departments, you will be responsible for continually improving our processes within the current system on site

Responsibilities

  • To be a subject matter expert for the areas in question

  • Lead problem solving events, using a structured format/tools to establish root cause

  • Lead improvement projects utilising lean and project management tools

  • Work closely with Leadership teams and operators to identify problems/ opportunities,

  • Develop and introduce systems to enable us to be more efficient.

  • Work closely with Front Line Leadership and operators to develop & maintain process documentation (standardized work, SOP’s, control plans, FMEA’s etc)

  • Monitor & analyse performance metrics for trends and proactively take countermeasures.

  • Continuously drive our manufacturing processes toward world class/true north standards

    Experience

  • Knowledge/Experience of assembly lines and processes.

  • degree or equivalent HNC/D qualification.

  • Experience & Knowledge of lean Manufacturing,

  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment, with the production teams
