Electronics Engineer – R&D | Innovative Tech | London (Hybrid)
Salary: Competitive | Full-time | Permanent

We’re an award-winning product R&D company based in London, designing and building world-class hardware and software for the entertainment technology industry. Our work powers systems used in professional venues around the world.

Join a team where your work directly contributes to industry-leading products and where your ideas are not only welcomed but expected.

The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, curious, and detail-driven Electronics Engineer to join our R&D team. You’ll be working on a variety of exciting, cutting-edge projects — taking concepts through schematic design, PCB layout, prototyping, testing, and support for manufacture.

This is a full-lifecycle electronics role where you'll develop real products used by professionals in live environments. We’re a small team, so you’ll have real ownership, fast learning opportunities, and support from experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electronics for new products from concept to manufacture

  • Create and maintain schematics and PCB layouts using EDA tools (e.g. OrCAD, Altium)

  • Build and test prototypes; troubleshoot and resolve design or performance issues

  • Support the manufacturing team with production test/debug

  • Contribute to design reviews and help improve tools and workflows

  • Engage in R&D discussions and propose creative technical solutions

    Essential Skills & Experience

  • A degree in Electronics Engineering (2:1 or higher) or equivalent hands-on experience

  • Familiarity with circuit design and PCB layout using industry-standard EDA tools

  • Practical lab skills — soldering, testing, using oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.

  • A problem-solving mindset and high attention to detail

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

    Desirable Extras

  • 1–3 years of relevant industry experience in electronics design

  • Experience taking designs through the full product lifecycle

  • Knowledge of design for manufacture and test

  • Exposure to production environments or supporting hardware in the field

  • An interest in entertainment tech or embedded systems

    Why Join Us?

  • Join a supportive, flexible and highly collaborative team

  • Work on real products that make a visible impact

  • Develop your career in a growing, employee-owned business

  • Be part of a company committed to sustainability and people-first values

  • Hybrid working (3 days on-site) with a relaxed, friendly office in West London
