Senior SHE Manager

A leading automation and process engineering organization are looking for a competent and driven SHEQ Advisor to join their successful operation. Your role will be to provide an efficient, timely and proactive and efficient support to the wider business, including improvement and maintenance of SHEQ systems and as well as operational support across their sites.

Duties include:

• Ensuring company compliance with the Quality Management System ISO standards ISO 45001, 14001 & 9001 and environmental strategy.
• Co-ordinating and conducting Internal Audits across all sites
• Supporting project managers with compliance with CDM regulations
• Conducting reviews of contractor documentation, and deliver safety meetings, audits, and inspections
• Ensuring delivery of compliance and promotion of continuous improvement
• Developing and maintaining RAMS and SSOW
• Providing relevant input during the tender and contract award process

This is a key support role that is integral to the business; you will form an important part of the SHEQ function and providing invaluable support across a range of operations.

Key competencies include:

• NVQ Level 3/4 in Occupational Health and Safety Practice or NEBOSH certificate & Tech IOSH
• Working knowledge of ISO Standards 9001, 45001 & 14001/competent internal auditor
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective time management and self-motivation
• Good in both written & oral skills to deliver reports to the business & customers.
• Full Clean UK Driving License
• ISO Systems Lead Auditor (Desirable)
• Working knowledge and experience of CDM regulations (Desirable)
• Electrical background (Desirable)
