We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who specialises in steam and hot water generating systems, for a Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer to join their established Projects Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer with a background in delivering capital equipment projects, ideally involving mechanical or process engineering. The role covers the full project lifecycle-from order placement to installation, commissioning, and final client handover.

As a Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer, you'll act as the key point of contact for internal departments and external stakeholders including clients, consultants, and subcontractors. You'll ensure that project timelines, scope, budgets, and risks are managed effectively to guarantee successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Full project ownership from initial order through to project close-out
Define and manage scope with clients and internal teams
Risk assessment, control, and mitigation planning
Coordination across design, manufacturing, finance, and site operations
Managing change orders and client variations
Monitoring KPIs and providing project updates to leadershipKey Requirements:

Experience in capital equipment or large-scale project delivery
Strong communication, planning, and coordination skills
Commercial awareness and confidence in negotiation
Ability to build strong relationships at all business levelsBenefits Include:

Up to £40,000 salary (based on experience)
22 days holiday + bank holidays (+1 day per 5 years' service)
Monday to Friday schedule with early finish on Fridays
