Job Title: Optoelectronics Process Engineer
Location: Great Yarmouth
Department: Engineering

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Optical Production/Process Engineer in Great Yarmouth to lead the development and production release of optical transceiver products for harsh environments. You’ll manage manufacturing release and work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements and ensure product quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead development and production release of optical transceivers.
Oversee manufacturing aspects (drawings, instructions, labor timings).
Serve as a subject matter expert in multi-channel optical communication products.
Collaborate with the Quality team to execute qualification plans.
Drive productivity improvements and best practices. Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Electronics.
Experience in multichannel package assembly and opto-electronic subsystems.
Knowledge of fiber products manufacturing, ceramic and thick film technologies.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, PFMEA, and process flow mapping.
Experience in Aerospace, Semiconductor, or Microelectronics industries is a plus.
Knowledge of AS9100 and MIL-PRF-38534 quality standards. Why Join Us?
