The largest British-owned wiring manufacturer in the UK is looking for a creative Graduate Marketing & Social Media Trainee to join their successful team in Doncaster. This is an exciting opportunity where you will play a central role in defining the business' marketing and social media strategies, managing the delivery of these and producing impactful results.

Role Responsibilities

You'll be joining a successful family-run business that has been established for over 30 years and throughout this time they have developed into an internationally recognised brand within the cable industry. As a Graduate Marketing & Social Media Trainee, your responsibilities will include:

Continuing to raise the brand profile within the professional contractor community and with electrical wholesalers
Managing the marketing budget, evaluating performance and finding areas of external support for this
Working with colleagues to understand the business and discover all marketable features
Coordinating marketing events ie. factory visits tours with colleges, electrical wholesalers and electrical contractors
Managing all print media
Tracking and monitoring the success of online initiatives and reporting the results to management
Staying up to date with social media developments and best practicesRewards

As a Graduate Marketing & Social Media Trainee, you will receive:

A starting salary between £27,000 - £30,000
Annual bonus
Development opportunities
A friendly office environment
Working hours: 8.30am - 5.00pm on site in Bentley, DoncasterRequirements

To be successful in this Graduate Marketing & Social Media Trainee role, you should live locally to Doncaster and have:

Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
A positive attitude, creativity and a passion for marketing
Some knowledge of web/app platforms, Microsoft 365 programs and basic design software
Knowledge of online technology including social media channels, blogs, podcasts and emerging AI
