Hands-on fabrication of specialist optical devices in a cleanroom, using photolithography, etching, dicing and other semiconductor processes to support development and manufacture of advanced optical components. The role splits time between the company's site and the University of Southampton's specialist fabrication facilities, working alongside experienced technicians and engineers.
