Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with a UK leading fenestration company who are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join their team.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Process Engineer with strong experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and Bill of Materials (BOM) control.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and optimising manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless product launches, and maintaining accurate BOMs to support production efficiency and quality.

The role responsibilities:

  • Lead and support New Product Introduction projects by collaborating with technical, manufacturing, and quality teams to develop efficient and scalable production processes.

  • Develop, document, and implement process workflows, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new and existing products.

  • Manage and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) data in the ERP system, ensuring alignment with engineering specifications and production requirements

  • Analyse production process to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost saving opportunities – implement improvements accordingly

  • Monitor process metrics and provide regular reports on NPI progress and BOM status to stakeholders

    What we are looking for:

  • Must have current or recent experience working within a similar role within engineering/manufacturing

  • Have a certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or related process improvement methodologies

  • Strong knowledge of Bill of Materials management and control within ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.)

  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality standards.

  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and organisational skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Proficient in CAD software, process simulation tools and MS office suit
