Electronic Engineer | £35-£43k | Oxford | Hybrid

My client is a global leader in the space industry, pioneering innovation.

After more than 100 successful missions, they are expanding their operations and seeking a talented Electronic Engineer to join their team.

Main duties:

  • Detailed circuit design including schematic capture, component selection, and simulation.

  • Directing in-house and third-party PCB layout design teams.

  • Supporting hardware/software/system integration, validation, and qualification.

    Skills and Experience Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in a hardware product design role.

  • Experience in the development of satellite/payload equipment is highly desirable.

  • Design of complex, high-speed circuits implemented as high-density, multi-layer (10+) PCBs.

  • Experience with circuit and PCB design and simulation tools (e.g., Allegro, ADS, SiWave, HFSS, CST).

  • Hands-on experience in designing products that include microcontrollers, digital signal processors, FPGA, and ASIC.

  • Knowledge of high-speed digital interfaces (e.g., SerDes, ADC/DACs).

    Bonus:

  • Experience in the development of satellite/payload equipment is highly desirable.

  • Experience with DC/DC power supply design, Verilog/VHDL for component management, and developing ASIC prototyping systems using FPGAs.
