Quality CMM Operator (Double Days)

Location - Worcestershire

We are currently recruiting for a CMM Inspector within the Machining-Quality Department.  After initial training this role will be working a Double Day Shift pattern in the Inspection Room. 

The role

Program & operate our Zeiss Prismo CMM inspection machines.
Complete independent Diametric & Geometric checks on both WIP & finished parts using the Zeiss CMM machines in the inspection room.
Communicate any discrepancies with operators & team leaders.
Recheck adjusted work for compliance to drawing & SOP requirements
Read & interpret Zeiss Calypso results & relate to machining activities
Collate data to liaise & aid in improvement activities with Machining Process Engineers
Person Specification

Quality & productivity focused, confident, flexible & highly motivated
Good communication skills are essential
Adept in Problem Solving
Good skills in mathematics, specifically trigonometry

Essential Criteria

Experience of operating CMM machines.
Have an understanding in how to navigate Windchill or similar PLM systems.
Understand & can interpret engineering drawings.

Desirable Criteria

Program CMM's from drawings on 3D models.
Have HNC or similar engineering qualification.
